What makes this pair different from the original Olivia hoops? Gold!!! I loved making the original pair but this holiday I wanted to add some extra pizzazz to them that will shine at any party! A gold foil finish has been applied around the edges to catch anyone's attention.
Hoops are still super lightweight and 14k gold filled, which are lead and nickel free and perfect for anyone who has sensitive skin.
What is gold filled?
“Gold filled” comprises of a solid layer of gold (14k) permanently bonded to a base metal, such as brass used in this pair of earrings. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th of the weight of the total item. Unlike gold plated, it is very hard-wearing and under normal wear the gold will not peel or flake.

Care:
Gold filled jewelry can last a very long time, but it is heavily dependent on several lifestyle and environmental factors. Avoid pools/hot tubs/chlorine, hair products, lotions, sunscreens, etc. To keep your piece in the best shape, simply wipe piece down with a soft cloth after each use. A polishing cloth is included with your purchase to help with care and cleaning your new earrings.
